Jennifer Hudson is expected to embark on a U.S. tour in Spring, and Jamie Foxx offers to hit the road with her.
Jennifer Hudson will be hitting the road for U.S. roadshow starting this spring. Breaking the news is the singer's manager Damien Smith, who tells Entertainment Weekly that the tour will exactly be kicked off in either late March or early April.
Furthermore, Damien reveals that Jennifer will headline a roughly six-week gig in theater-sized venues. On other details of the tour, he says, "Everybody, stay tuned. You'll be seeing a lot more of her."
While Jennifer's tour dates are yet to be announced, Jamie Foxx, who previously sent her text message offering support after her performance at Super Bowl XLIII, has stepped forward unveiling he is ready to accompany her on the road. "She's doing well. She says she wants to get back into the flow of things. Hopefully, we will go out on tour together and, you know, heal the world with our music," he states in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
In related news, Jennifer Hudson has been recruited to perform at this year's NAACP Image Awards to be hosted by Halle Berry and Tyler Perry. Alongside Seal, she will be rocking the stage of Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Thursday, February 12.
