Michelle Obama looked fabulous in her banded red and black ombre “victory” dress last night. The designer is Narciso Rodriguez and it’s straight off the runway from the Spring 2009 collection. Designers have been throwing runway specialties her way for several months now. Just one of the perks of being First Lady.
We’ve also learned from Atlanta Gossip that Mrs. O got a jump start on her Inauguration dress
plans last week. She already tapped famed African American NY designer Cassandra Bromfield (www.cassandrabromfield.com)to custom make her Inauguration dress. I’m not even mad at her early optimism. Anyways, we’re told the dress will be one of a kind. Cassandra is considered one of today’s top Black Fashion Designers for Social Gowns, Wedding Dresses, Afrocentric Bridal Gowns, and African American designer social occasion dresses. Hot.
Okay family....so how much am I absolutely LOVING Michelle Obama at this moment????
