Jennifer Hudson has finally debuted her 2 month old son David, Jr. to the world. This is his first pic and he and mommy are looking precious together. Jenny says:

I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy. Who better to devote my time to than my own child?”

On how they kept the pregnancy a secret:

“David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.”

It's Official....

Jennifer Hudson is most definitely pregnant...7 months to be exact (lol...like WE didn't know that already!!)...She celebrated quietly with family and close friends at a baby shower held in Chicago last Saturday.

Jill Scott Pregnancy & Marriage Rumors Confirmed

Jill Scott recently spoke to the media and confirmed that she is indeed in the second trimester of her pregnancy.....

Now the Philly-bred songstress went on the record for the first time about the pregnancy while promoting her forthcoming HBO series, 'The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency' spoke openly about being with child.

The first trimester I spent in Botswana. That was one of the biggest challenges of my life. First trimester! You're sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days," she said to reporters at the Television Critics Association conference in Los Angeles on Friday.

Despite being pregnant while shooting the show in Africa, Scott said she's glad she went forward with the production.

"My doctors gave me a clean bill of health and said you can do this, so I did it," she offered.
The 36-year-old Grammy-winner is due on April 25.

Scott and Roberts were engaged on June 20, 2008 and BV Buzz has now learned exclusively that the couple will wed next weekend.

This will be the 'Why Did I Get Married' singer's second marriage.

She was previously married for five years to graphic artist and deejay Lyzel Williams. They announced their divorce in June of 2007.

I already picked up this story from Jawn Murray's column on AOL's Black Voices but I just wanna know what's up with the photo the ran with the story? Could it be that it was the only picture the photographer took OR the only one available???? Probably not.


Uh...this ain't the most flattering picture that I have seen of Jill....I KNOW she's preggers and is (or should be) glowing from all that "baby love" coming from inside her but seriously family......




This picture is JUST WRONG. I HATE this picture. Just hate it. And I will leave it at that.

Ooohhh Family.....I just got through reading The BV Buzz this morning and.......

Word on the street (although it hasn't been confirmed yet) is that Curvalicious Diva Jill Scott is expecting her first child.

The father-to-be is her fiance'; drummer Lil' John Roberts, who she announced her engagement to on June 20th.

The Philly-bred, Grammy Award winning singer is currently taping her HBO movie series in Africa right now.

I'm so glad that mama Jill seems to be really happy now!

Hey Family!

Join me in welcoming home little Madison Eladia Jones, who came into this world on September 27, 2008 at 8:56pm at NY Presbyterian Hospital. Miss Madison came in weighing 6lbs and 8ozs lol...but her mom says that at only 3 weeks 1/2 weeks later Miss Thing is a very healthy 8lbs 12ozs....oh yeah....she's gonna be in the juicy mama club for sure!

Madison's parents are Plus Model Magazine Editor Madeline Figueroa-Jones and Photographer Lucas Jones.

We have ALL been anxiously waiting for the arrival of this baby and I can't WAIT to see how this little diva will evolve!

Nicole Hudson-Holloway is a New Mom!!!

Great news family!

On October 4, 2008 at 12:54am little Hugh Sloan Holloway finally made his way into this world! Nicknamed "Bubba" after both his maternal granddads, Little "Bubba" came in at 8lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches long. He's named after his dad's maternal grandfather.

His parents are my St Louis homie and fellow NYYT-er Nicole and her husband Cameron.

I have some wonderful news family!!!

My homegirl and former roomie from Mo'Nique's F.A.T. Chance (Season 1) became a new mommy on May 27, 2008 at 9:23 in the morning. Little Chad Bernard Carter, Jr. entered this world at a very healthy 8 lbs 7.6 ozs.!!!

His mama tells me that he is a VERY happy baby who's developing ahead of schedule and is a little bit of a flirt already! (Check the "baby tat" ya'll...hilarious!)

So I ask you to join me in welcoming little Chad Bernard Carter Jr., "CJ" for short to the world!

Congrats to Chad Sr. & Charlie...You done good girl!!! He's beautiful!
