Jennifer Hudson gets her own Christmas special....

Hmmm....JHud already has her Oscar and a Grammy....anyone else feel like mama is going for the TRIFECTA? (Grammy, Oscar & Emmy???).....watch and see fam.... Congrats Chica!! Continue to blaze that trail for other curvy girls to follow!!!

Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar for her first film -- "Dreamgirls" -- and a Grammy for her self-titled debut album. Now Hudson turns to TV, headlining a Christmas special for ABC. As per the Hollywood Reporter, "'Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas' will air in December and feature the singer-actress reliving her childhood holidays with musical performances filmed in locations specific to her youth: the Oscar winner's church, music academy and other Chicago locations."

Expect this hour to be emotion-packed for Hudson. Last Oct. 28, her mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson, and nephew Julian King were murdered in their Chicago home. Since then Hudson has shown a remarkable resilience. She performed an inspirational version of the national anthem at the Super Bowl in January, stole the show at February's Grammys, and moved us all with her rendition of "Will You Be There" at the July memorial service for Michael Jackson. In August, she gave birth to her first child, a son with her fiance, reality star David Otunga ("I Love New York").
