They both just got comedy pilots green lit by ABC......
The script will feature the actor as a retired baseball player-turned-radio host forced to re-evaluate the type of father he has been when his son and 6-year-old granddaughter re-enter his life. (Word on the street is that Big Ced will star in and executive produce the pilot...you GO boy!!!)
The network also picked up a pilot from comic Carlos Mencia, based on his life and stand-up act. The show will center on a man in the middle of his very large multigenerational immigrant family.
