Makeup and fashion gurus sue Queen Latifah

Morning Fam....I found this on Reuters Life!:

NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - A makeup artist and a fashion stylist sued U.S. singer and actress Queen Latifah on Monday, claiming they were owed hundreds of thousands of dollars for their services over the past five years.

In two separate lawsuits filed in Manhattan federal court, cosmetics consultant Roxanna Floyd and fashion stylist Susan Moses accused the Grammy Award-winning singer, whose real name is Dana Owens, of breach of contract.

Floyd claimed she is owed more than $700,000 for helping develop, produce and market the "Queen Collection," which is the singer's line of cosmetics for CoverGirl.

Moses claimed she is owed more than $300,000 including for advising Owens, 39, in her role as the spokeswoman and model for "Curvations," a lingerie line that targets fuller figured women.

The lawsuits said Floyd and Moses ended their working relationships with Owens in February 2008. Both women have also consulted for Owens in her film roles, including "Hairspray" in 2007.

A spokeswoman for Owens was not immediately available for comment.
