ANGIE STONE TURNS CHAUFFEUR FOR ELDERLY VOTERS

Singer ANGIE STONE is ensuring U.S. senior citizens cast their vote in the forthcoming presidential elections by driving them herself to the voting polls on Election Day.

The soul star is teaming up with a limousine company to provide elderly voters in Georgia with transportation to their local ballot boxes on Tuesday (04Nov08).

And she is urging her fellow Americans to pitch in and do the same.

In a statement, the star says: "I feel it is my civic duty to help those who are less fortunate or don't have the resources to get to the polls. I am trying to aid them in having a voice on one of the most historical election days ever. I implore others to do the same… We can change our communities one block at a time."

Kudos to you Miss Angie....this is MAD cool!
"Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does."
