Apparently WBLS-FM's popular radio personality, Wendy Williams, will have to go it alone from now on...her loyal (and sometimes very rude) sidekick Charlemagne was fired this week due to budget cuts. Miss Wendy went on air to let everyone know that she had nothing to do with his dismissal and the pair are "still friends".
Damn. I guess everybody is feeling the pinch.
What was interesting to me was the chick they (channel 9) chose for the "person on the street" interview....they told her he'd been fired and her response was to cover her mouth and start laughing.
I wonder what else is going on within Inner City Broadcasting?
Hmmmm.....
"Firings used to be done with surgical cleanliness. Today they call them 'downsizings' and they use a meat cleaver."

Not to gloat over someone else's misfortune but thank God they let him go. I love Wendy's show and all but that guy was a disgrace with those unruly comments he makes. Good ridance !
