Is it me or did Diane Amos AKA the Pine-Sol Lady get a SERIOUS MAKEOVER????

Interesting.

She looks GREAT!!

I guess that's TRULY "The power of Pine-Sol Baby!!!"

Wow! I didn't even recognize her!!! You know how rich Pine Sol has made this lady? Man, I wish I could land an endorsement deal like this and be set for life:-)!

While the Pine Sol ad is hilarious, it is a parody of Tom Ford's White Patchouli fragrance ad. An ad that came out pre-Obama. Give the man credit for bucking beauty rules and putting a woman of color in his ad.

To the anonymous person who posted the 3rd comment...

I don't find the ad funny at all and I don't think that they (the creators) meant it to be funny either. I think that she looks beautiful and the ad looks amazing. I believe I stated that in my post.

I thought I was giving the creator of the ad MUCH credit by writing a positive blog. As for putting a woman of color in his ads....what are you talking about?

She been visible in the ads since the beginning.

I am sorry if I was unclear. The Pine Sol ad is a parody of Tom Ford's White Patchouli with Erykah Badu. As I am someone who has been in the fashion business for 25 years, the Pine Sol ad is a hilarious parody of the original fragrance ad. I did not mean to insult Diane Amos. She looks amazing in the Pine Sol ad. Check out this site:

I actually looked at the link you sent me and now I understand your comments clearly. Thank you for clearing that up for me....it's all good....But....

I still don't think the ad is funny.

Just beautiful.

Now that you've become my new best friend, I am glad the link cleared it up.
I never meant for a moment to suggest that Ms. Amos did not look totally glam, but that the parody was funny. It is interesting how advertising, just since the election in November, has completely changed. Advertising is finally becoming as diverse and to use your word "beautiful" like never before. If Sonia Sotomayor has diminished "white men" then good for her.

So this is Diane Amos? Wow she looks great. I thought this was Aushia Smith. I know she is a new up and coming model as well.

Would you please confirm that this is Diane Amos....Aushia Smith is all over Facebook, claiming that this is her in the ad...

She's been know to lie about things in the past, so I wanted to make sure before I questioned it...so sad that folks have to lie...if this is indeed Ms. Amos

I actually don't know if this is her or not now...I have never heard of the plus sized model you are speaking of.

I will do some digging and see what I can find.

Thanks for the heads up!

To be perfectly honest I am a personal friend of Ms Aushia Smith. And yes this is her. Beauty is beauty. I know Diane Amos was the original, but this ad is Aushia's first national campaign and her Orlando friends are happy for her.

THERE ARE MORE PICS AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY GAWGEOUS!!!! YES GAWGEOUS!!! LOL

Hello all! This ad is indeed a combination of the original Pine Sol lady- Ms. Amos and Aushia Smith. Aushia is a beautiful, spirited, fun loving plus size model who is doing amazing things to show that full size women are BEAUTIFUL too and I'm so glad to see it...

Um Kristina,

Are you willing to bet your job on it? If so you are horrible at PR. As the above link that someone posted is of the make-up artist that actually worked on Diane for this shoot.

You've obviously been duped and may want to do a better job of research, before making such claims, as it doesn't represent a lack of your PR skills.

Hello just to clear things up this is inded the real Aushia Smith (I know her personally) it is not Diane Amos....and to the sixth comment from the anonymous person you shouldn't be so quick to say something you know nothing of....if it was her or not what's it to you and if you truly knew her then there should be no doubt in your mind that it is her (Aushia Smith) get a life...instead of hating you should be praising her accomplishments

Be Blessed

Its funny how you people got it so confused. If the make up artist claimed this isnt aushia smith and people doing research claims this isnt aushia smith then it isnt aushia smith. Aushia is from Jacksonville so the Pr person from JVille is probably working wit aushia and the people from orlando believe whatever she tells them because she works closely with frontline promotions there. So ill so with it not being her.. So give the props to the person that deserves the props and its not aushia smith!

It is Diane... from the pine sol website itself...

Aushia has a gap in her front teeth, for those who really know her would know this is her trademark. This photo doesn't show the gap which is present in any other photo of her. She has been known to stretch the truth. I don't know her to well but the times I have been around her she was nice but stretches the truth.
